The story in The Dark Past begins when, many years ago in the small town of Howlville, they found a strange device inside a mine. The government asked Dr. Joseph to investigate it. A few days later Dr. Joseph disappeared without a trace and the experiment was discontinued. Now fifteen years later Rachel wants to know what happened to her father.
To help the protagonist of the game to know what happened, you have to explore the closed city, locating objects that are hidden in the screens of the game and solving challenging minigames. Can you discover what happened? Will Rachel ever find her father? What was this mysterious artifact?
